Safety First Air Convertible Car Seat:
My husband and I have not been having the best luck with this seat. It's not that we feel that it isn't safe (we would NOT be using it if we did), but NOTHING about this seat has gone smooth.
- Installation: The only way for this seat to fit properly in a rear facing position is to use a wedge AND since we don't have one of those, it is installed with a pillow! Oddly enough, the Safety First website suggested this tip.
-Daily use:
* on an almost daily basis, the straps get tangled! errrrrrrrrrr
* only one strap at a time will loosen up to release tension....errrrrrrrr
Summer Brand Complete Coverage Color Video Monitor Set:
My husband and I were originally thrilled to have this monitor. It has a stationary LCD screen AND a hand held video device. UNFORTUNATELY, it is not as perfect as we thought.
- The video monitor has picked up TWO different bedroom views!
- Recently, we heard an entire conversation over the monitor from a completely different home!
- Static is frequent, even after a full charge.
** Summer Brand does have a brand new system that looks amazing and supposedly has better reviews for interference. It's newest model has a video touch screen with a zoom option. Before knowing this feature existed, my husband and I thought that an option like that would be perfect! The baby moves around in the crib so much, that often she is out of view! And who wants to sneak in her room to fix the monitor and possibly wake her up!
