So if you've checked out my "Favorite Products & Accessories" list, you've figured out that I love a lot of Mustela Products. When I was "preggers" a few of my mommy friends warned me about Johnson & Johnson products containing high amounts of potential cancer causing toxins. Although I was slathered in Johnson & Johnson as a kid myself, I preferred to NOT use these products for Ellie.
My sister and mother thinking I was being "snooty" wanting to register for expensive"posh" creams, pretty much made fun of me and told me I was being "silly." Knowing that I wouldn't be changing my mind, they finally supported my choice to avoid these Johnson & Johnson products.
On the day of my baby shower, my sister, a frequent shopper of second-hand items at The Salvation Army, (which she refers to as "Salve Armani"), handed me a package of Mustela Cleansing Cloths and dubbed them the "Million dollar a** wipes!"
Let the truth be told about these wipes though...When Ellie was born I never used a single wipe on her toosh! I honestly thought that for $14 a "cleansing cloth" meant that this was a semi-fragrant cloth to wipe her body down, so I didn't have to bath her every two seconds! As much as I love Musetela, $14 for "a** wipes" is CRAZY-TOWN! haha!
Soooo, when things were a little hectic in the first few weeks/month (still), the cleansing cloths had a purpose...to bathe mommy! A little swipe under the armpits and another cloth around my neck and chest; and THAT my friends made those cloths worth every penny!!
